STEP 2: INSTALLATION DAY
30 MINUTES BEFORE
Your technician texts you. They're on the way.
WHEN WE ARRIVE
- Shoe covers before entering (your floors stay perfect)
- Quick water test to show you the "before"
- Locate your water main and crawlspace/garage access
- Explain exactly what we're doing
- Lay down protective materials
THE INSTALLATION TIMELINE
HOURS 1-3: WATER SOFTENER
We're in your crawlspace or garage installing the softener system. You'll hear some drilling and movement, but we keep it professional.
This is when we also install a main shut-off valve if you don't have one (super handy for future plumbing emergencies—and free with your system).
HOURS 3-4: RO SYSTEM
Under your kitchen sink getting the reverse osmosis set up. We'll need the cabinet cleared out (that ancient bottle of Comet can stay, but maybe move the good china).
HOUR 4-5: TESTING & TEACHING
- • Test your water again (prepare to be amazed)
- • Walk through how everything works
- • Show you the salt tank (and how to never think about it)
- • Answer every question twice if needed (no judgment)
HOUR 5-6: CLEANUP & PAYMENT
- • Remove every trace we were there
- • Final walkthrough together
- • Payment only when you say "perfect"
- • High fives optional but encouraged

If you can clear a path to your crawlspace and under your sink, amazing. If not, we'll handle it.
BRING YOUR QUESTIONS
Seriously, ask us anything. How does ion exchange work? Why is water wet? We love questions.
PLUMBING WISHLIST
Our installers are licensed plumbers. See a dripping faucet? Toilet running? Mention it. If we have time, we can add it to your invoice.
WHAT YOU DON'T NEED TO DO

ON THE PHONE:
We give you exact pricing. Not "starting at" pricing. Not "ballpark" pricing. The actual number for our bundles. If there is anything difficult or custom and will require more time and materials, we will make sure you are aware of that before we start working.

DAY OF INSTALLATION:
Invoice sent digitally. Payment processed after completion. We accept:

- • You've said "yes, this is perfect"
- • We've high-fived (optional)
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER WE LEAVE
DAY 1:
RO makes gurgling sounds (normal). Water tastes different—you're tasting nothing for the first time.
WEEK 1:
Skin stops feeling tight after showers. Hair actually feels soft. Shower doors mysteriously stop getting that film.
MONTH 1:
First regeneration cycle at 2 AM (might hear it). Check salt level. Friends ask what's different about you. It's your hair—it has shine now.
MONTH 3: THE FULL GLOW UP
Hair grows stronger (minerals were blocking follicles). Skin completely renewed with clean water. Pink biofilm in shower? Gone forever. You're using half the products for twice the results.
If pink stuff returns or skin/hair compliments stop, check your salt level. That's literally the only maintenance.
LONG-TERM MAINTENANCE
MONTHLY
Look at the salt tank when you walk by. If it looks low (you can see water), add water softener salt. Any brand from any big box hardware store. Takes 30 seconds.
EVERY 6-12 MONTHS
RO filters need changing. They twist off, twist on. Seriously easier than changing a lightbulb.
We can do it, or you can. If you want to do it yourself just give us a call and we can order you a new set of filters.
ANNUALLY (OPTIONAL)
We offer a service plan that includes:
